Abolition Of Gp Fundholding

EDM number 1461 in 1994-95, proposed by Alice Mahon on 16/10/1995.

That this House deplores the attempts being made by the Association of GP Fundholders to intimidate the Labour Party into changing its policy on the abolition of GP fundholders; regrets the decision of the Association to become involved in party politics; and notes that all available evidence shows that GP fundholding leads to a two tier health service undermining the basic principles of the NHS.
