Availability Of Hansard On The Internet
Nigel Jones
1995-10-25
That this House notes that proceedings of the US Senate and the Australian Parliament are available free of charge on the Internet; further notes that a daily copy of Hansard costs ú7.50; believes that the record of parliamentary proceedings is an important area of information which should be available to the people of Britain; supports the Freedom of Information Association in its view that Hansard should be more widely available; and urges the Government to make Hansard available on the Internet free of charge at the earliest opportunity.
