The Importance Of The Role Of Sport In Promoting Health, Education And Social Inclusion
Tony Cunningham
2002-11-13
That this House recognises and shares the Prime Minister's belief in the role that sport plays in promoting health, education and social cohesion and helping to combat anti-social behaviour; commends the national governing bodies of sport and their clubs for promoting social inclusion as highlighted in the CCPR strategy, Everybody Wins; and calls for greater resources for the governing bodies of sport and their clubs to help achieve the Government's objectives.
