75th Anniversary Of Lisieux Hall

EDM number 2842 in 2005-06, proposed by Lindsay Hoyle on 24/10/2006.

That this House congratulates the Brothers of Charity at Lisieux Hall who are celebrating their 75th anniversary; notes that the anniversary was marked with the opening of the new Trieste Centre in Chorley combined with a service at St Laurence's Parish Church; recognises that the Brothers of Charity have been providing support for those with mental disability within our community and finding new and ambitious ways of ensuring that they are included in local communities, learn to become more independent and find openings within the workplace; pays tribute to Brother Dennis for his efforts in running Lisieux Hall, and to the current Director, Brian Kelly, and his team; and looks forward to Lisieux Hall enjoying another 75 years.
