Conduct Of Lord Laidlaw (No. 2)

EDM number 2123 in 2006-07, proposed by Gordon Prentice on 15/10/2007.

That this House deplores the fact that Lord Laidlaw continues to serve as a Member of Parliament given his status as a tax exile; notes that he gave an undertaking to the House of Lords Appointments Commission in 2004 to become a UK resident for tax purposes and that he reneged on this promise; and considers that he is not a fit person to serve in Parliament.

This motion has been signed by a total of 30 MPs.
