<title>Girlguiding UK Streets Ahead Project</title>
<proposer id="10521">Bob Russell</proposer>
<date>2012-05-09</date>
<text>That this House recognises the importance of encouraging youth participation in local communities; further recognises the essential role Girlguiding UK plays, as the largest voluntary youth organisation in the UK, in optimising the opportunities for girls and young women to become involved in improving their communities; congratulates Girlguiding UK on the launch of its innovative and informative Go For It! Streets Ahead! project which encourages young girls to engage in community action and aims to inspire girls to act on issues that matter to them; and calls for more support for similar initiatives in the future.</text>
