That this House notes with disappointment Scotland's early departure from the World Cup despite a stirring victory over Sweden but praises the Scottish football supporters on their loyalty and behaviour, which, as in previous World Cups, was by any standards exemplary; salutes the Tartan Army on being fine ambassadors for the Scottish nation, especially after the exceptional lifting of the alcohol ban in Turin; and confidently believes that their dedication will ultimately be rewarded with success.
