The Prime Minister And Avoidance Of Debate;amdt. Line 1:

EDM number 1198A1 in 1989-90, proposed by David Tredinnick on 28/06/1990.

Leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes that the Prime Minister has achieved the status of the most renowned international leader in the West through her own efforts and ability; notes further that she answers oral Parliamentary Questions twice a week, a level of critical Parliamentary scrutiny far beyond that experienced by any other leader of a major democratic country; but does not consider that pointing out that no Prime Minister since Lloyd George has been readier to mix it with her political opponents in rough Parliamentary street-fighting automatically qualifies the honourable Member for Rutland and Melton for the most undistinguished order of the brown nose.'.

This is a ammendment to 1198.
