Rights Of Small Brewers
EDM number 1228 in 1989-90, proposed by Graham Allen on 04/07/1990.
That this House notes that small independent breweries and their customers are having some difficulty in selling guest beers because of the attitude of the large brewers; notes this is counter to the recent monopolies and mergers commission report; and calls for the Secretary of State for Trade and the Office of Fair trading to investigate this matter immediately.
