Fair Representation In Standing Advisory Commission On Human Rights

That this House notes with concern that, while the Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights in Northern Ireland contains existing and former members of the Social Democratic and Labour Party and the Alliance Party, it contains no existing or former members of the Ulster Unionist or Democratic Unionist Parties; and calls on the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to establish a fair balance of appointment to this and other public bodies in Northern Ireland.
