That this House congratulates Mr Andrew McKinlay and the Thurrock Labour Party together with the Thurrock Gazette in their impressive and vigorous campaign designed to save the Accident and Emergency Department at Orsett Hospital from closure; and calls on the Secretary of State for Health to respond to this excellent campaign by providing the resources to keep the hospital open.
