Centenary Of The Scottish Football League

That this House congratulates the Scottish Football League in its centenary year and acknowledges the considerable achievements of Scottish clubs and their supporters in enhancing the status of the game as exemplified by their achievements in European competitions and the increase in attendance at matches in recent years and the general improvement in ground facilities and spectator behaviour, which it is sure will be continued to secure the future well-being of the 38 clubs competing for the League Championship and the League Cup under the prudent guidance of the League Management Committee and staff.
