Ebourne School Coventry

EDM number 1410 in 1989-90, proposed by Alan Meale on 16/10/1990.

That this House shares the deep and heartfelt concern of the pupils at the Ebourne School, Deedmore Road, Wood End, Coventry, for the world's natural lungs, the tropical rain forests, their indigenous inhabitants and animal and plant life; warmly welcomes their constructive proposals for greater use of unleaded petrol and the need for recycling of paper; therefore welcomes the long-overdue decision of the Accommodation and Administration Committee to launch a nine month experiment in the use of recycled paper and envelopes in Parliament; and calls for recycling to be extended to all Government departments and throughout the public and private sectors.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
