Award To The City Of Glasgow
EDM number 1414 in 1989-90, proposed by David Marshall on 16/10/1990.
That this House notes with very great pleasure and no real surprise the result of the Company Magazine Survey of 10 major cities to find the best city in Britain, in which the winner was the City of Glasgow; and notes also that the second best city was Edinburgh, thus confirming what was already well known in the West of Scotland.
This motion has been ammended, see 503A1.
