Extra Resources For Community Comprehensives

EDM number 1469 in 1989-90, proposed by Ron Brown on 29/10/1990.

That this House is opposed to the closure of Ainslie Park High School, an excellent comprehensive serving north Edinburgh; and calls on the Secretary of State for Scotland to provide extra resources so that community schools can be kept open and class sizes reduced to improve the quality of education for working-class youngsters.
