Stable Staff In Japan

EDM number 237 in 1989-90, proposed by Alan Meale on 19/12/1989.

That this House congratulates the Japan Racing Association for its full recognition and participation for stable staff employed in their country's horse racing industry, including their payment at good income levels, individual stable staffs' share in winning percentages and their provision of excellent permanent accommodation for stable staff and their families, together with their practice of full acknowledgement of the position of grooms in charge of winning racehorses by including them where possible on the race presentation podium along with the horse's owner, trainer, jockey and breeder.
