That this House notes with interest that the current directors of Michael Forsyth Ltd are considering a change in the name of the company; recalls that in March 1988, however, that a director of Michael Forsyth Ltd, Mr David Robertson, stated that 'there wasn't any point in buying it if we don't buy the name'; believes that the name of the honourable Member for Stirling has been deliberately and cynically used to promote privatisation interests for commercial gain; and calls on the honourable Member for Stirling to make a statement to the House.
