Disabled Employees

That this House recognises the important contribution that can be made by disabled people to businesses and organisations; congratulates the Department of Employment for organising the Fit For Work Awards to recognise outstanding achievements in the practical applications of positive policies in the employment of people with disabilities; congratulates this year's winners of the Fit For Work Awards, including Hewlett-Packard Limited's Computer Peripherals Division in Bristol; and urges other companies and organisations to recognise the benefits from employing disabled people.
