Camberwell Health Authority Breast Screening Unit

EDM number 327 in 1989-90, proposed by Simon Hughes on 17/01/1990.

That this House deplores the fact that women who require a biopsy are being turned away from the special Breast Screening Unit at King's College Hospital, London, one of four regional screening centres opened only eighteen months ago, because the hospital is unable to guarantee provision of three surgical beds, that as a result women are being caused unnecessary fear, and the continued existence of this unit has been thrown into doubt.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs.
