EDM number 396A1 in 1989-90, proposed by Ann Winterton on 31/01/1990.

Leave out from 'Rail' to end and add 'as one of those increasingly rare occasions upon which British Rail acts efficiently; wishes, however, that Sir Robert had always been so willing to put similar effort into the management of the railway service and had not allowed himself to become involved in the petty posture politics of those who speak from a position of ignorance about South Africa; and welcomes the promotion of tourism in South Africa by the British media including the Network SouthEast Magazine.'.

This is a ammendment to 396.
