Still Photography In The Chamber
EDM number 48 in 1989-90, proposed by Roland Boyes on 22/11/1989.
That this House notes that the quality of photographs of honourable Members, taken from the television screening of the House of Commons in session is of extremely poor quality; is aware that without an immense improvement in quality the newspapers will very quickly cease use of such photographs; and calls upon the Deputy Prime Minister to make speedy arrangements for a still photographer to be employed in the Chamber to take high quality pictures.
