The Gardner Report On Leukaemia And Lymphoma

That this House notes the deep concern and alarm with which the findings of the Gardner Report on Leukaemia and Lymphoma have been received both without and within the nuclear industry; demands that the Government implements forthwith the suggestion of the National Radiological Protection Board, that an investigation of the medical records of over one hundred thousand people who have worked with radioactivity in Britain since the late 1940's be undertaken; and further notes that investment on a massive scale will be required in order to determine the causal significance of the problems associated with radiation and the remedial action necessary to achieve a safe radiological environment for present and future parents and their children.
