Liberal Democrats In Stockport Campaign For Recycling Rebate
EDM number 69 in 1989-90, proposed by Malcolm Bruce on 24/11/1989.
That this House congratulates the controlling Liberal Democrat group on Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council who have been campaigning for the introduction of a rebate from their waste disposal authority for every tonne of waste they recycle; and deplores the decision of the controlling Labour group on the waste disposal authority not to introduce this much-needed incentive to community recycling.
This motion has been signed by a total of 8 MPs.
