Collaboration Between The Liberal Party And The National Front In Hackney (No. 1);amdt. Line 1:

EDM number 855A1 in 1989-90, proposed by Simon Hughes on 19/04/1990.

Leave out from 'concern' to end and add, 'the frenzied attempts through distortion and smear by the Hackney Labour Party to divert attention away from their record of neglect and the criminal conviction of one of their own candidates; believes the inability to distinguish between the Liberal Democrats and the Liberal Party shows the depth of the allegations; notes that Councillor Beadle's original nomination papers were rejected on a technicality forcing him to collect new nominations at short notice which he did at a council meeting, without knowing the political background or personal views of all those prepared to nominate him; looks forward to many more years of hard work on behalf of the people of Hackney by Colin Beadle and further believes that neither he nor any other Liberal Democrat needs lessons on fighting racism from a Labour Party colluding with elements in the Conservative Party against the legitimate rights of the Hong Kong Chinese.'.

This is a ammendment to 855.
