Right To Die

EDM number 890 in 1989-90, proposed by Roland Boyes on 24/04/1990.

That this House notes the growing interest in the right to death with dignity; recognises the valuable work of the medical profession in alleviating suffering; believes, however, that people have the right to die when they wish; and calls upon the Government to bring before the House proposals which, subject to stringent safeguards, would facilitate this.

This motion has been signed by a total of 1 MPs.
