Bergen Follow-Up Conference To Bruntland And Secretary Of State For The Environment

EDM number 957 in 1989-90, proposed by Simon Hughes on 08/05/1990.

That this House notes with sadness that the Secretary of State for the Environment regards the United Nations regional ministerial follow-up conference to the Bruntland Report to be of insufficient importance to merit his attendance in Bergen; and calls upon him to recognise the crucial importance of this meeting and to reconsider his decision not to attend.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
