Situation In Yugoslavia

EDM number 1072 in 1990-91, proposed by Peter Fry on 04/07/1991.

That this House views with great concern the situation in Yugoslavia; deplores the use of military force; feels that some recognition must be made of the legitimate aspirations of the peoples of Yugoslavia if there is to be hope of a peaceful and long term solution which will keep the country together; and urges Her Majesty's Government to make it clear that further use of the Federal armed forces can only result in the loss of international aid and assistance.
