That this House notes the overspending by the Central Manchester Hospitals Trust to the value of over ú1 million by the end of the first quarter of the financial year; is concerned that the decision already taken to refuse to employ agency nurses may impact on patient care; insists that any further actions should not jeopardise the quality and quantity of health services; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to guarantee that monies will be made available to this end.
