Attacks On Kurdistan

EDM number 1235 in 1990-91, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 14/10/1991.

That this House is alarmed at the attacks by the Turkish armed forces on Kurdish positions within the frontiers of Iraq; demands that the killing cease forthwith and that a statement be made by the coalition forces commanders as to their knowledge of this military activity and what approval they gave to it; and further believes that the wishes of the Kurdish people be of paramount importance to any long-term peace settlement.
