Bradford Hospital Trust And Privatisation

EDM number 1272 in 1990-91, proposed by Max Madden on 17/10/1991.

That this House is outraged at the latest evidence of privatisation by Bradford Hospital Trust whereby screening for osteoporosis is offered to women prepared to pay ú60; agrees with doctors who have denounced this charge as breaching Ministerial assurances about the Conservative Party believing in equal access to free health care for all regardless of means; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to instruct Bradford Hospital Trust to cancel this monstrous charge.
