Extension Of Fair Employment (Northern Ireland) Act 1989

EDM number 183 in 1990-91, proposed by David Trimble on 06/12/1990.

That this House views with concern the evidence in the recent survey by the Centre for Policy Research at the University of Ulster that Northern Ireland Roman Catholic graduates living in Great Britain have done worse in terms of employment compared with Roman Catholic graduates continuing to live in Northern Ireland; and calls on the Government to consider remedying this disadvantage suffered by Roman Catholics in Great Britain by extending the Fair Employment (Northern Ireland) Act 1989 to the whole of the United Kingdom.

This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
