Police And Fire Services In South Yorkshire

EDM number 237 in 1990-91, proposed by Peter Hardy on 13/12/1990.

That this House expresses grave concern in regard to the provision of resources for the South Yorkshire Police and for the fire service within the metropolitan county of South Yorkshire; and deplores the prospect of a serious reduction in the number of police officers and in the complement and capacity of the fire service within South Yorkshire since such a development will prove to be of severe disadvantage to the communities throughout the county.

This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
