Fair Play In Sport Award

That this House welcomes the establishment by the Sports Council and BBC Radio Sport of the The Fair Play Award; believes that adherence to fair play and ethical behaviour, both on and off the sports field, is an indispensable component in achieving success and excellence in sport; congratulates the Sports Council and BBC Radio Sport on this initiative; and calls on the Government to make available the necessary resources to make this award an annual event.
