Support For British Industry

EDM number 342 in 1990-91, proposed by Alan Meale on 23/01/1991.

That this House applauds the work of the Better Made in Britain campaign which has worked fervently for British manufacturing industry; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to respond to the challenge put before them by those industrialists who have shown great pride in their home base by the introduction of a mandatory labelling scheme with an easily identifiable logo for all British-made goods.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
