Clothing For The Disabled
EDM number 344 in 1990-91, proposed by Alan Meale on 23/01/1991.
That this House recognises the value of having, in the United Kingdom, a number of specialist clothing manufacturers, who produce and supply many individually made and designed types of clothing for the seriously disabled, some of whom would otherwise find great difficulty in either acquiring or affording such clothing for their everyday needs; and urges Her Majesty's Government to do whatever it can to support these manufacturers and to help improve upon their excellent record for the delivery and availability of quality clothing goods and services for the severely disabled in this society.
