Fact-Finding Mission - Kashmir
EDM number 363 in 1990-91, proposed by Jimmy Dunnachie on 29/01/1991.
That this House condemns the current atrocities which it believes are being perpetrated against the people of Kashmir in their struggle for national self-determination; and calls on the government of India to invite independent observers into Kashmir on a fact-finding mission to testify as to the extent to which human rights are currently being upheld in the region.
