That this House wishes to place on permanent record its gratitude, admiration and respect for the untiring work of the honourable Member for Sunderland South who, inspired by former honourable Member Joan Maynard has, over the years, worked unceasingly to prove the innocence of the Birmingham Six, and by doing so played the crucial role in securing their release.
