National Museum Of Photography, Film And Television In Bradford;amdt. Line 6:

EDM number 723A1 in 1990-91, proposed by Bob Cryer on 25/04/1991.

Leave out from '1991' to end and add 'regrets, however, that the valiant effort by the Bradford Council Labour Group to retain the Library Lecture Theatre for community use was rejected by the National Museum who insisted on retaining the facility handed to them by the discredited and subsequently defeated Tory council; notes that the lavish conversion of the Library Lecture Theatre to a cinema can only provide one screen as opposed to two at Bradford Playhouse and Film Theatre; recalls that Bradford people have been well served by the Bradford Playhouse and Film Theatre for more than fifty years; and regrets that the signatories should be so indifferent to the work of this institution held in great esteem and affection by Bradford people and instead accept uncritically the views of a London-based organisation which has demonstrated an arbitrary and cavalier attitude towards Bradford and its people.'.

This is a ammendment to 723.
