EDM number 757A1 in 1990-91, proposed by Jimmy Dunnachie on 29/04/1991.

leave out from 'actor' to end and add 'is not eligible to pay the iniquitous poll tax in Edinburgh; recognises that Edinburgh District Council will shortly honour him with the Freedom of the City; calls for the Government to abolish the discredited 20 per cent. rule which forces the poorest in the community into debt; demands that those people, such as pensioners, the unemployed and the disabled, who struggle to pay their poll tax, be rebated in full and that there be an amnesty for only those who have been genuinely unable to pay; and condemns the Scottish National Party campaign of non-payment which had the real effect of making the poll tax even dearer for real people living in real poverty.'.

This is a ammendment to 757.
