Conduct Of The Right Honourable Member For Henley (No.2)

EDM number 86 in 1990-91, proposed by Harry Barnes on 16/11/1990.

That this House notes that the Right honourable Member for Henley missed numerous opportunities to vote against Conservative poll tax measures which were brought before this House for Scotland, England and Wales, with the single exception of voting for a mild amendment proposed by the honourable Member for East Hampshire on 18th April 1988: and asks the Right honourable Member for Henley to explain to the House how he proposes to re-enfranchise all the 600,000 people who have been pushed off the electoral register due to its interlinks with the poll tax register.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
