British Custard Tart

EDM number 92 in 1990-91, proposed by Alex Carlile on 20/11/1990.

That this House views with concern European Community proposals which would mean the end of the British custard tart as we know it; believes that there is no evidence of disease or injury to health resulting from the consumption of fresh custard tarts baked in bakeries in the United Kingdom; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to ensure that regulations are not introduced with the effect of requiring custard tarts to be cooled to such a low temperature that their consistency would be ruined during storage and display

This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
