Post Office Counters

EDM number 953 in 1990-91, proposed by Ron Brown on 12/06/1991.

That this House notes that Post Office Counters have made record profits, thanks to the co-operation and efforts of employees; further notes that management, under pressure from the Tory Government, is trying to impose an unacceptable pay settlement, even refusing arbitration; and fully supports the Union of Communication Workers in their struggle to secure a decent wage for members.
