Protection Of Important Estuaries

That this House recognises the international importance to wildlife and ecology of major estuaries such as the Humber; and calls upon the Government to speed up the process of designating those that meet agreed criteria, special protection areas under EC directives and the Ramsar Treaty, without further delay.
