Mrs T Stevenson And The Scottish Ambulance Service

EDM number 160 in 1991-92, proposed by Jim Hood on 13/11/1991.

That this House expresses its concern at the present state of the Scottish Ambulance Service; notes the case of Mrs T. Stevenson, from Rigside, Lanarkshire, who was left lying on a stretcher for two hours in a corridor in Glasgow Royal Infirmary waiting for an ambulance to take her home from the out-patients department; further notes that tragically, Mrs Stevenson died two weeks later; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to provide proper resources to the Scottish Ambulance Service to prevent this ever happening again.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
