Income Support Levels - Residential Care
EDM number 207 in 1991-92, proposed by Alan Meale on 19/11/1991.
That this House, whilst noting the recent increases in income support levels for people in residential and nursing care, is concerned that they are insufficient to meet the actual costs and that short falls will inevitably lead to increasing distress for such people, as well as causing major financial problems for many voluntary organisations struggling to try and make up the differences.
