That this House notes with deep concern the decision of Dillons bookshop to stock the book The Final Exit, which gives details of methods of committing suicide, including suffocation, starvation, and mixtures of drugs and alcohol; believes that publication of such a book is directly contrary to the spirit of the law; urges retailers to remove this work immediately from their shelves; and calls upon the Attorney General to bring prosecutions against those who do not.
