World Memorial Day

EDM number 391 in 1991-92, proposed by Paul Flynn on 12/12/1991.

That this House urges honourable Members to wear, on the first World Memorial Day on 1st January 1992, the badge made out of metal from scrapped Soviet SS20 and American Pershing missiles, thus raising funds to help the victims of future world disasters; and welcomes this symbol of hope for a safer and better world initiated by the Memorial Fund for Disaster Relief.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs.
