Widgery Tribunal;amdt. Line 5:

EDM number 540A1 in 1991-92, proposed by Harry Barnes on 28/01/1992.

at end add 'also notes the concern expressed by the cross-party peace group, New Consensus and others across the political spectrum, about the conclusions of the Widgery enquiry into the Bloody Sunday shootings; calls upon the Government to make available parliamentary time to fully debate these tragic events and the standing of the Widgery enquiry; believes that such steps are vital so that those injured, the relatives of those killed and democrats of all parties can feel satisfied that justice is not only but also seen to be done; and further believes that this would greatly assist the task of isolating the small number of people who exploit Bloody Sunday to justify anti-democratic tactics, intimidation and terror by parliamentary gangs.'.

This is a ammendment to 540.
