Protection For Mobile Home Residents

EDM number 57 in 1991-92, proposed by Ronnie Fearn on 01/11/1991.

That this House notes that there are serious loopholes in the Mobile Homes Act 1983 which are a cause of concern and hardship to many mobile home owners; recognises that mobile home owners should have the same rights of protection under law enjoyed by traditional home owners; and, in recognition of the importance of mobile homes in today's housing situation, calls upon the Government to amend the said Act and the model standards governing mobile home sites and to ensure that local councils who issue site licences honour the conditions of the licence.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
