Earth Summit

That this House notes the United Nations Conference, known as the Earth Summit, to be held in June; urges the United Nations to promote the idea of free markets and free trade for all as the only way to raise the appallingly low standard of living in many countries; notes that economic impoverishment is brought on by ruinous socialist economic policies and communist-inspired 'wars of liberation'; recognises that the capitalist countries have the highest standard of living, the best records on pollution and the highest levels of environmental conservation; and urges the United Kingdom Government to continue its campaign to bring this message of hope to Third World countries.
